Jaskarn has been in the financial services industry for over 10 years. Having worked in the City for most of his career helping to develop and deliver financial planning and investment portfolio solutions to wealthy private clients, he went on to set up Investor Profile.

On his ambitions for the business he commented: “I wanted to offer the kind of high quality, ethical, fee-based service I had been used to providing, but in a way that was going to be practical and affordable to more people. I was used to working for people with millions of pounds to invest who could afford the very best advice. But my ambition has always been to offer the very best advice to a greater number of people.”  Jaskarn is committed to high standards both for himself and the wider industry. He is a member of the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP) and the Personal Finance Society (PFS). He is also one of the few people in the UK that is qualified as a Chartered Financial Planner, Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and investment portfolio manager (IMC).

Jaskarn finds that the key to high quality financial advice is not in having lots of technical knowledge but in being able to apply this to his clients’ situations in a way that turns a potentially costly arrangement into something very simple.

“My job is to offer peace of mind. My clients don’t want highly complex solutions with highly complex charges to go with them. I want to help people achieve their financial and investment goals as easily and efficiently as possible. My clients can relax knowing they are being well looked after. Many people end up paying far more than they need to for investments in particular. What I do is provide my clients with affordable, fee-based financial advice and helpful investment solutions. Having someone simplify your financial affairs just makes life so easy” said the Investor Profile director.

Jaskarn has also been a previous winner of the prestigious Money Management Financial Planner of the Year Awards surpassing the UK’s very best on his way to winning the Young Financial Planner of the Year and Investment Planner of the Year awards. In 2011 he was recognised for his quality of contributions to the media by picking up the Best Newcomer award at the Unbiased.co.uk awards.

Away from business Jaskarn enjoys spending time with his family. He is married and has a little baby girl, who was born in May 2010.

He is also a keen sportsman. “I love playing football, cricket and golf in particular. I also follow Tottenham Hotspur on what can best be described as an emotional roller coaster most of the time although we seem to be playing some classy football these days. When I’m not playing I also love watching sports. I could easily watch a whole Test match from start to finish!”.
